Nationally Recognized Geriatric Care Manager and Family Crisis Consultant Charlotte Bishop Reaches Amazon Best Seller List with Her Brand-New Book “Local Business Mavericks”

Chicago’s top Family Crisis Consultant, Charlotte Bishop, hit #1 on the Best Seller List for the recent release of Local Business Mavericks. The book also reached #2 in the Business & Money category for the Kindle Store.

Local Business Mavericks is a compilation of one-on-one conversations with some of the top entrepreneurs in their industry designed to share their strategies to overcome the toughest obstacles standing in the way of their customers’ success.

Bishop’s insight into Geriatric Case Management is based on 25 years of experience and is right on target.

She states, “One of the best pieces of advice I can give families is to plan now for the future.  Right now.  Don’t procrastinate until there is a nightmare scenario to discover that mom doesn’t have a will or dad was found wandering at the grocery store. Or worse, a parent dies because they did not reveal health issues. While we cannot make a parent or loved one accept help, we can be prepared with a plan to address some of the most common issues that develop for families. Hope is not a plan.”

Bishop has made headlines quite a bit recently, most notably for her ability to clarify medical, personal, and environmental issues as they relate to the health, welfare, and quality of life of an individual and to identify resources to develop personalized care plans.

It’s most likely for this reason that many people nationwide consider her the most real and relevant Family Crisis Consultant in tune with the marketplace today.

Charlotte Bishop is a certified Aging Life Care Professional with a Masters’ degree in rehabilitation along with four other professional certifications that reinforce her credentials as a care manager.  Her personal and professional experiences have formed her opinion that a family catastrophe does not make an appointment; you have to be ready when it shows up. Consequently, she specializes in helping families anticipate and prepare for challenging medical, personal, residential, and environmental issues for themselves and aging family members as well as cope with crises when they hit.
